Prayer/Devotional and Scripture Study Specialist: Lead unit scripture study and devotional time. Make assignments for prayers. Prepare and teach a devotional in your unit, give direction for unit scripture study time, then lead a discussion after unit scripture study time. You can do personal scripture study or group study, it's up to you.

Big Sister: Help create a positive unit environment though ministering to each young women and general leadership - helping them know what they should be doing and when. Ministering to the campers individually where needed. Praying for the campers. Sharing personal experiences and testimonies. Welcome campers to unit, lead creation of unit yell, tuck in campers at night, lead unit to workshops/activities.

 

Camp Song Specialist: Help teach and lead camp songs in amphitheater and in unit.

 

Unit Games/Activity Director: Come to camp prepared to lead games & activities during the welcome to camp unit time and/or during down times.

 

Polar Dip Specialist: Wake up and lead the campers to polar dip. Make it as fun as possible!

Unit Chore Specialist: Create a chore chart prior to camp. Help the campers know when it's their turn for each chore. Be creative and make it as fun as possible.

​

Unit Decor Specialist: Lead the decoration of the unit banner before camp at a YW activity, help direct the setting up of the unit decor provided by the stake at camp.

​

Crafts: Lead and help teach the young women in your unit how to do the craft project.

​

Service: Help direct the service project at camp and teach the young women what to do.

​

Ward Night Activity Specialist: Lead a discussion with your ward YW group to plan an activity for Ward Night at camp. Use the Detailed Service and Activity Plan, included in the 2021 YCL Binder. Plans need to be approved by your ward YW presidency.

 

Camp Rules/Safety Skit Video: Help with pre-camp promotion. Participate in making a fun video to teach about keeping camp safe.

Spiritual Workshop "Who tells your Story?": Share about your experiences with Journaling, this may include sharing inspirational family stories, personal journaling experiences, scripture journaling, and writing a family history.

​

Trash Party: Pick up full trash bags from units and head shed then ride in the back of the trash truck to the dumpster with President Smith & party music.

​

Dance: Learn unit dance and stake dance then teach your unit during the dance workshop at camp.

​

Pre-Camp Promotion: Help create a video to share with the stake teaching what camp is like and getting the young women excited to come.

​

Friend Zone/Super Scrubbers Specialist: Deliver mail, help lead unit in cleaning Biffys and Flushies. Make it as fun as possible!
